Taught by highly experienced acting coaches, who have gone through this process themselves, this course will give you invaluable knowledge into exactly what drama schools are looking for, advice on where to apply and extensive help with your audition material
Course Outline
Over 5 full days you’ll be:
Picking, practising and performing your material whilst learning technique and getting direction.
Mock interviews - learning interview techniques and advice on how to present yourself.
Mock movement call – what to expect and advice on what exactly they are looking for.
Ensemble/group work - sessions of working together in practice for your final recalls.

THE ESSENTIAL “DO’S AND DON’TS” OF AUDITIONING
However talented you are, you can still jeopardise your chances without the right focus, attitude and choice of material. We will ensure you are confident and assured, avoiding any easy but costly mistakes.
BUILDING CONFIDENCE
Inevitably, you will be nervous. You will learn strategies, techniques and exercises to help you manage your anxiety, so that you can channel it positively into your performance and show your full potential.
YOUR SPEECHES
Choosing the right audition speech is one of the most important decisions you will make. Through class work you will get personal and detailed help on the perfect speeches to fit you and your skills.
FINDING A SONG
Our vocal and musical specialists will teach you everything you need to know about picking the right songs to suit you; we will work on acting through song; editing of songs and help you with vocal techniques to improve your voice.
APPLYING TO THE RIGHT DRAMA SCHOOL
Not all drama schools are the same. We will help you make informed choices about which schools and courses best suit you.
WHEN TO APPLY
We will give you all the necessary information on how and when to apply, to ensure you are able to organise and prepare effectively.
